
Research Profile:
Peter Dunsby studied Theoretical Physics at Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London, obtaining his Ph.D. in 1992. After working as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Cape Town (UCT) and Dalhousie Unversity, Halifax, he joined the permanent staff of the department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics at UCT in 1998. His current research interests include cosmological perturbation theory, cosmic microwave background anisotropies, interaction of strong gravitational and electromagnetic fields and the dynamics of string inspired cosmological models. He is married with a two year old daughter. When not spending time with family or doing science, he enjoys hiking the numerous routes on Table Mountain.
