Lindsay Magnus

Lindsay Magnus

Mr Lindsay Magnus is a Research Physicist and is currently enrolled as a PhD student under the supervision of Professors J Rash and ADM Walker at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.  His research focus is using SuperDARN radar data to study the magnetohydrodynamics of the earth's magnetosphere. The data produced by the radar is used, inter alia, to study polar-cap ionospheric convection and field line resonant pulsations. Lindsays work is to develop a global view of Pc5 field line resonant pulsations by identifying global signatures and characterizing their cause and origin.
