Infrared Properties of a Periodic Maser Source (G22.357+0.066 Massive Star-forming Core)

Project: 
Massive stars are known to form in Giant Molecular Clouds (GMCs) and strongly influence the chemical and structural properties of their host galaxies. G22.357+0.066 is a massive star forming region associated with a period 6.7 GHz methanol maser. This project involves the used of infrared data from different telescopes (2MASS, Spitzer, WISE) to explore the properties of G22.357+0.066. The archival data is readily available and can easily be downloaded from the telescopes' archives. Extracting the physical properties of the source will involve simple models and calculations.
