Numerical simulations of the radiation environment in stellar wind astrospheres in general and around stars with habitable zones

Project: 
Different numerical models (hydrodynamic and magneto-hydrodynamic) will be utilized to simulate stellar wind outflows. while the stellar astrospheres has a major impact on the flux of GCRs the activity determines the flux of stellar energetic particles. Of importance will be the comparison to different observations, like the particle caused X-ray flux (Herbst et al. 2018). From these comparisons much can be learned about the Astrosphere and stellar evolution itself but also about the surrounding interstellar medium.
