Understanding the periodic OH masers in G9.62+0.20E

Project: 
In this project we aim to understand the flaring behaviour of periodic OH masers in the high-mass star forming region G9.62+0.20E. The periodic methanol masers associated with this star forming region can be explain within the framework of a colliding-wind binary system. However, the flare profile of the OH masers differ in some respects of that of the methanol masers. We propose to investigate through modeling to what extent the behaviour of the OH masers can also be explained within the framework of a colliding-wind binary system.
