Is Dark Energy erasing Dark Matter?

Project Description:

This project investigates the non-gravitational interaction between dark matter and dark energy as a means of better understanding cosmic expansion. The work focuses primarily on analysing the background cosmological parameters in comparison with the standard cosmological model (ΛCDM). Interacting dark energy models will be fitted to local cosmological measurements in order to characterise the flow of energy from dark matter to dark energy and its effect on cosmic dynamics.
